Ko Khai is a small island east of James Bond Island and off the tourist circuit. We saw hornbills flying among the trees on its cliffs. It has overhangs and caves to explore as well as this small hong on the south side into which we rowed our dinghy. Fishermen tie their boats to the ropes under the overhang so they can rest out of the sun or rain. The best anchorage seems to be on the north side at about 8°15.5'N, 98°30.7'E.
